Christina Pinks M.S.W has a diverse work experience in the education and community organizing sectors. Christina started their career as a Community Organizer at the Children's Aid Society in 2012, where they conducted surveys and facilitated meetings with community members to promote educational reform. In 2013, they joined the I Have a Dream Foundation as a Community Relations Coordinator, responsible for maintaining records and organizing events for program participants. From 2014 to 2016, Christina served as a Lead Organizer at Families for Excellent Schools, building relationships with community members and organizing large-scale rallies and summits. Christina then transitioned to Ascend Public Charter Schools, where they held various roles from Operations Assistant to Operations Manager, overseeing student information systems, logistics for school events, and managing finance systems. Most recently, Christina joined the Public Preparatory Network as the Director of Operations in 2021.
Christina Pinks obtained their Master's Degree in Social Work from Hunter College between 2012 and 2014. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Psychology at the State University of New York at Oswego, from 2007 to 2011.
