Katarina Gomez

Katarina Gomez has a diverse range of work experience. Katarina began their career as a Media Marketing Intern at OBAR Systems Inc. in 2022. Katarina then went on to serve as a Sports Social Media Director at Ithaca College Television. In 2023, they worked as a Travel Blogger for the Center for Cross-Cultural Study / Spanish Studies Abroad and as a Media Intern at EssenceMediacom. Katarina also gained experience as a Student at Ithaca College from 2020 onwards. Additionally, they held roles at the Association for Women in Sports Media and the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), where they served as an Event Coordinator and Co-President, respectively.

Katarina Gomez is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Sports Media at Ithaca College, where they have been enrolled since 2020 and is expected to graduate in 2024. In addition to their formal education, Katarina has obtained several certifications, including Digital Marketing Foundations, Designing a Presentation, Excel Essential Training (Microsoft 365), Learning Excel Online (Microsoft 365), and Personal Effectiveness Tips, all from LinkedIn. Katarina also achieved Dean's List recognition at Ithaca College in January 2023. Katarina has further expanded their skillset through certifications such as Harnessing Change to Unleash Your Potential, Social Media Marketing: Strategy and Optimization, How to Speak So People Want to Listen, Photoshop 2021 Essential Training: Design, and Photoshop 2021 Essential Training: The Basics. Additionally, they completed a course called Publishing on LinkedIn for College Students and Young Professionals in December 2020.
