Shalonda Griffin

Shalonda Griffin is an experienced administrative professional with a strong background in both medical and correctional environments. Currently serving as an Administrative Program Specialist A at the Louisiana Department of Public Safety and Corrections since November 2022, Shalonda oversees the medical records team and supports the Director of Nurses with payroll and record management. In addition, Shalonda has held roles at the Louisiana Department of Health as an Administrative Coordinator 4, focusing on training coordination and mail processing since April 2019, and has previously worked in various administrative roles within the correctional system. Shalonda's earlier experience includes positions at the Elayn Hunt Correctional Center and Vescom Corporation, showcasing a robust skill set in oversight, coordination, and communication. Education was pursued at Baton Rouge Community College between 2010 and 2011.
