William Engel

William Engel, DO, MSc, FAAP, currently serves as the EMS Advisory Board Chair at Central Virginia Community College and holds the position of Department Chair and Pediatric Hospitalist at Centra Health. Engel is also an Adjunct Clinical Faculty member at Liberty University College of Osteopathic Medicine and has contributed to various educational projects as a Contributing Author and Subject Matter Expert for the Public Safety Group and the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians. Engel's previous experience includes a Pediatric Critical Care Fellowship at Children's Mercy Kansas City and residency at Advocate Children's Hospital. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Osteopathy from Liberty University College of Osteopathic Medicine, a Master's degree in Biological and Biomedical Sciences from UNT Health Science Center, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from The University of Texas at Arlington. Engel possesses extensive expertise in pediatric medicine, critical care transport, and emergency medical training.
