Public Trust Advisors is looking for a Client Services Associate to join our Client Services Team in Denver, Colorado. Founded in 2011, Public Trust is a client-focused, independent investment advisor that specializes in managing and servicing the investment needs of local governments nationwide. 

This is a HYBRID work opportunity in Denver, Colorado. Must be willing to work in our downtown Denver office Monday’s and Thursday’s and the rest of the workweek remotely from home. Parking or RTD pass is provided.  No relocation is provided for this position.

Our Client Services Associate will join a staff of likeminded professionals dedicated to providing a one-stop-shop for cost effective investment management and advisory services for the public sector. Together we assist local governments, increasing investment income for their communities allowing them to finance more projects, hire new people, expand payroll, and increase reserve funds.

Ideal candidates will possess a 4-year degree (business majors preferred) and have 1-2 years’ experience in a customer facing position.  Finance and Investment experience is a plus! This role requires excellent communication skills and superior attention to detail. Successful candidates will have developed strong problem-solving skills combined with their good judgement to address the needs of our clients in a professional and timely fashion. Job Summary

  • Provide exceptional participant experience by answering phone inquiries, responding to emails, and coordinating with Managed Service Provider to resolve all client requests timely.
  • Utilize Customer Service Management System to track client requests through completion.
  • Contact new participants to ensure a successful start to their relationship with the investment pool, including aiding accessing the portal, offering training, and answering any questions they may have.
  • Provide reporting to Relationship Managers on client request data monthly.
  • Perform data stewardship to ensure accuracy of source data used throughout the firm.
  • Respond timely to Managed Services firm with regards to client information requests.
  • Daily oversight of Managed Service provider for completion, accuracy, and timeliness of their performance.
  • Periodic audit of Managed Service provider outputs.
  • Act as a liaison between Portfolio Management department and Managed Service provider for inquiries and requests.
  • Act as intermediary for all communications to Public Trust clients.
  • Process audit confirmation requests for Fund Participants.
  • Assist with deliverables for annual audits of Funds.
  • Assist with preparation of quarterly reporting for LGIP boards.
  • Perform monthly asset reconciliations for SMA clients and resolve outstanding reconciling items.
  • Review and approve SMA statements in Clearwater prior to distribution to clients.
  • Perform a variety of beginning-of-month and end-of-month tasks and duties.
  • Provide coverage for vacation, sick and personal days of team members.
  • Perform special projects as needed and assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • Ability to work effectively with employees of all levels within the company.
  • Position requires accuracy and strong attention to detail.
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize appropriately.
  • Must be proficient in Outlook and Excel.
  • Excellent customer service skills required.
  • Must be able to work closely in a team environment.
  • Must be able to evaluate problems as they occur daily and resolve them in cooperation with co-workers.
  • Must be able to work closely with the other client service associates, analysts, and management.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills are necessary to succeed.
  • Must be comfortable on the phone and client facing.
  • 4-year Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
  • 1-2 years of customer service experience preferred.
  • Experience in banking or knowledge of financial markets and mutual fund industry beneficial.

Compensation

$50,000 - $60,000 annually
