Janice Smith

Janice Smith is an experienced human resources leader currently serving as the Head of People at Public Trust, one of New Zealand's largest trustee service organizations. With a strong background in change management and organizational transformation, Janice has held pivotal roles including Consultant for Counties Manukau Health during significant healthcare reforms, and Director of People & Culture at Tātaki Auckland Unlimited, overseeing major mergers. Previous experience includes leadership positions at Regional Facilities Auckland and Restaurant Brands Ltd, where Janice focused on operational efficiency and employee engagement. Janice holds a BTech (Hons) in Chemical Technology from Massey University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management from The University of Auckland.
