Daniel L. Smith

Daniel L. Smith is an experienced educator and writer with a diverse background in history and criminal justice. Currently serving as a teacher at Redwood Christian Schools since May 2022, Daniel also contributes as a book author for Publication Consultants and as a historian with Answers in Genesis. Notably, Daniel is the creator and writer of the docuseries "Complex America," alongside freelance writing for History Is Now Magazine. Previous roles include project manager for the Celebrate America Tour 2021 at the World History Institute and a research writer for the Providence Foundation's literary project on North American Indians. Prior experience includes an organized retail crime investigator for Corporate & Retail Investigations and service in the U.S. Coast Guard. Daniel L. Smith holds a Master of Arts and Bachelor of Arts in History, as well as an Associate of Science in Criminal Justice.
