Gajendra Badodekar

Gajendra Badodekar has extensive work experience in procurement and commercial roles. Gajendra started their career at Elbee Services Ltd. as an MSD Supervisor from August 1993 to February 1996. Gajendra then joined Bennett, Coleman & Co. Ltd. in March 1996 as an Assistant Manager in the Business & Commercial procurement function. During their tenure, they contributed to various strategic projects and gained valuable skills. In September 2006, Gajendra joined ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company Ltd. as a Manager in the Commercial department. Gajendra subsequently worked at Adlabs Films Limited - Big 92.7 Fm as an Associate Senior Manager from February 2007 to July 2008. In July 2008, they returned to Bennett, Coleman & Co. Ltd. as a Senior Manager in the Business & Commercial procurement function. Gajendra then moved to Publicis Re:Sources as a Senior Manager and later as Director of Procurement, where they established procurement functions for various regions and also took responsibility for the insurance function in India. In November 2018, they were promoted to Vice President of Procurement, leading sourcing and vendor management teams at the Shared Services Centre. Throughout their career, Gajendra has demonstrated leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to establish and enhance procurement functions.

Gajendra Badodekar completed their Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) from the University of Mumbai with a focus on Business/Commerce. Gajendra then pursued a Masters in Financial Management from the same university with a specialization in Finance. Additionally, they obtained numerous certifications from LinkedIn in various areas such as Agile Foundations, Balanced Scorecard and Key Performance Indicators, Change Management Foundations, and more. These certifications were obtained in 2023.
