Danica Favorite

Danica Favorite has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Danica is currently working as a Community Manager at PublishDrive since November 2022. In this role, they are responsible for developing a content marketing plan, creating engaging content, providing community feedback, and planning and executing community initiatives and programs.

Before joining PublishDrive, Danica worked as a Freelance Writer under their own company, Danica Favorite, starting in November 2014.

Prior to that, they had an extensive tenure at Harlequin, where they held multiple roles. From August 2021 to November 2022, they served as an Assistant Manager, Social Media Engagement. Their responsibilities included coordinating community moderators, engaging community members, creating content, maintaining schedules, and working with corporate stakeholders.

From May 2014 to November 2022, Danica worked as a Community Manager at Harlequin, where they played a key role in managing online community events, implementing social media strategies, and acting as a liaison between the community host team and corporate management. Danica also served as a Moderator during this time.

Danica served as the Secretary of the American Christian Fiction Writers from January 2009 to December 2011.

Their earlier experience includes working at H&R Block as a Senior Tax Advisor/Instructor from December 2004 to August 2009. In this role, they prepared taxes for clients, coordinated tax preparation for online clients, and managed a team of online tax preparers.

Danica Favorite attended Regis University from 1993 to 1997, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History and Political Science. In 1997, they also briefly attended Birzeit University to study Arabic. Additionally, in December 2022, Danica obtained a certification in Jira Fundamentals Badge from Atlassian.
