Teri Spencer

Teri Spencer has a diverse work experience in the field of human resources. Teri is currently working as the Director of People & Culture at Publix Employees Federal Credit Union, starting in January 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Manager of People and Culture at the same company from October 2021 to September 2023.

Before joining Publix Employees Federal Credit Union, Teri worked as a Human Resources Consultant at StevenDouglas from March 2021 to October 2021. Teri also had a role in HR FlexTech, where they managed human resources and benefits from July 2020 to March 2021.

Teri's previous experiences include working as an HR Consultant at StevenDouglas from October 2018 to November 2019, and as the Vice President of Human Resources at CareSync from February 2016 to December 2018.

Teri also held a managerial position at GTE Financial, focusing on total rewards, from September 2012 to January 2016. Additionally, they worked as a self-employed Human Resources Consultant from January 2012 to October 2012.

Earlier in their career, Teri served as the Senior Vice President of People Strategies & Resources at CCS Medical (formerly MP TotalCare) from January 2006 to October 2011. Teri held several positions at MP TotalCare, including Vice President of Human Resources from July 2003 to December 2005, Director of Human Resources from July 2002 to July 2003, and Manager of Human Resources from May 2000 to July 2002.

Teri Spencer holds a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources and an Associates Degree in Business Administration from Columbia Southern University. Additionally, they have obtained certifications such as Certified Plan Sponsor Professional - CPSP from the Plan Sponsor Council of America, as well as PHR and SHRM-CP from the HR Certification Institute and SHRM, respectively.
