Dominic Gachupin

Dominic Gachupin has been a 1st Lieutenant Governor at Pueblo of Jemez since July 2018. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Santa Clara Pueblo's office of Intergovernmental and public relations from February 2016 to July 2018. In that role, Dominic was responsible for developing relationships and managing interactions between the pueblo and all governmental entities to ensure that the Pueblo's goals and objectives were accomplished. Dominic also served as the Tribal Leader Pueblo of Jemez from September 2012 to January 2016, where they oversaw and carried out all secular duties & responsibilities of all tribal government personnel. Additionally, Dominic was responsible for the implementation and management of the day to day operations of all departments, programs and projects of the pueblo and associated grants, contracts, general funds, and limited liability companies. Prior to that, Dominic served as a Family Advocate at Jemez Social Services from May 2005 to May 2012.

Dominic Gachupin studied liberal arts at The University of New Mexico.
