Sara Leverette

Sara Leverette currently serves as the Director of Environmental Program Services and Assistant General Counsel at Puget Sound Energy, a position held since May 2021. Previously, Sara was a Senior Corporate Counsel at Puget Sound Energy and a Partner at Van Ness Feldman LLP, where expertise included advising clients on energy infrastructure permitting and litigation, as well as compliance with environmental laws. Sara's career also includes experience as an Associate at Stoel Rives LLP and as Program Director at the Oregon Environmental Council. Sara holds a J.D. from the University of Washington School of Law and a BA in Environment, Economics and Politics/Spanish from Claremont McKenna College.
