Ellen Kim has a diverse work experience in various companies and industries. Ellen started their career at Samsung in 2001 as an Assistant Manager in Overseas Sales & Marketing. Ellen then worked at Kimberly-Clark as an Associate Brand Manager for the Kotex brand from 2008 to 2011, where they conducted market research and developed advertising campaigns. After that, they joined Colgate Palmolive/Hill's Pet Nutrition as a Brand Manager, leading global product development projects. In 2013, they became a Marketing Manager at LG Electronics USA, where they developed and implemented marketing strategies and managed brand communications. Ellen also worked at Nielsen Company as the Director of Nielsen Innovation Practice in North America. From 2016 to 2017, Ellen served as the Marketing Director at Sempio Foods Company, Inc. Currently, they hold the position of Marketing Director for the Plantspired brand innovation & Marketing Communications at Pulmuone Foods USA, Inc.

Ellen Kim attended Indiana University - Kelley School of Business from 2006 to 2008, where they obtained a Master's degree in Marketing. In addition to their degree, they also hold a 6 Sigma Green-Belt certification from Samsung, received in April 2004. Furthermore, Ellen Kim has a German Teaching License which they obtained in February 1998 from Seoul, Korea.
