Laurel Scovie

Laurel Scovie has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. From 2016 onwards, Laurel worked at Puls, where they started as a Market Operations Manager and later became the Director of Market Operations. In April 2022, they transitioned to the role of Director of Technical Operations. Laurel's responsibilities at Puls included managing technical and market operations.

Prior to their time at Puls, Laurel worked at Care Ambulance Services, Inc. as an Emergency Dispatcher. In this role, they operated a complex telephone system, radio system, and computer-aided dispatch system to provide emergency medical dispatch and crisis intervention services.

Before that, Laurel worked at the YMCA of San Diego County. Laurel held multiple roles as a Certified Personal Trainer, Wellness Coach, and Group Ex Instructor. Laurel was recognized for their outstanding service and received the "Outstanding Staff Recognition" award in 2013. Laurel designed and promoted various workout activities and created customized exercise and nutritional programs for individual clients.

Overall, Laurel has gained valuable experience in operations management, emergency dispatch, and personal training throughout their career.

Laurel Scovie obtained an Associate's degree in Communication, General from Cuyamaca College from 2009 to 2011. In addition, Laurel has obtained several certifications including ACE Personal Trainer from the American Council on Exercise (ACE Fitness) in 2014, CPR Pro from the YMCA of San Diego County in 2014, Group Ex from the American Council on Exercise (ACE Fitness) in 2014, AED Training from the YMCA of San Diego County in 2012, and Standard First Aid from the YMCA of San Diego County in 2012.
