Jack Rossi is a data scientist at pulseData. Jack has previous experience working as a technical solutions engineer for analytics at Epic, where they served as an analytics advisor to six hospital systems across the United States. Jack is a strategic consultant on data governance, BI steering and data ops, and has led multiple development projects, including an executive KPI dashboard and predictive model validation. Jack has also developed discrete event simulation in R to optimize real-time reporting performance. Prior to their work at Epic, Jack worked as a DAAD RISE research assistant at Jacobs University Bremen, where they developed a Python library for detecting and mitigating initialization bias in discrete event simulation. Jack also assisted in writing a doctoral thesis on synchronization in manufacturing systems. Jack's other experience includes working as an industrial engineering research assistant at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh and as a continuous process improvement intern at BNY Mellon.

Jack Rossi has a dual master's degree in applied information science and information systems (health tech) from Cornell Tech. Jack also has a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering from the University of Pittsburgh. In addition, they have completed certification courses on Coursera in mathematics for machine learning: linear algebra, advanced data structures in Java, data structures and performance, and programming languages, part A.
