Matthew Wells

Associate Vice Chancellor, External Engagement & Development at Purdue University Northwest

Matthew Wells is the current Associate Vice Chancellor for External Engagement & Development at Purdue University Northwest. Prior to their current position, they were the President of Career Development Professionals of Indiana from May 2012 to June 2016. Matthew has also held positions as a tenor at Music of the Baroque from November 2014 to May 2016 and at the Grant Park Music Festival from May 2011 to May 2013. In addition, they have served as the Assistant Director of the Career Center at Valparaiso University from August 2010 to December 2015. Matthew began their career as a Graduate Assistant in the Career Development Center at Indiana University from August 2008 to May 2010.

Matthew Wells graduated from Indiana University Bloomington with a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance. Matthew then went on to earn their Master of Music from the same school in the same field. After that, they completed a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Valparaiso University. Finally, they earned a Graduate Certificate in Business Administration and Management from Valparaiso University as well.
