Dr. David Costas

Dr. David Costas, DBA, PE, currently serves as the Director of Project Management at Pure Power Engineering as of October 2023. Previously, as Engineering Director at Stellar Energy, Dr. Costas oversaw engineering activities and managed a team of engineers, fostering personnel development and leading research and development initiatives. With over a decade of experience at APR Energy, Dr. Costas held multiple leadership roles, including Senior Director of Engineering, where strategic direction for a global fleet of generating assets was established. Earlier positions include Senior Mechanical Engineer at Cummins Power Generation and Mechanical Engineer at MTU Onsite Energy, where substantial contributions to generator set designs were made. Dr. Costas holds a Doctor of Business Administration in Finance from Jacksonville University, as well as a Master's and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Minnesota State University, Mankato.
