Kieran Edwards

Kieran Edwards has a diverse work experience that spans various industries and roles. Kieran started their career as a Percussionist at The Drum Cafe, where they collaborated with a team of musicians to provide team-building exercises for corporate clients. Kieran then served as an Operations Specialist in the Singapore Armed Forces, where they coordinated and monitored personnel and vehicle movements.

After their military service, Kieran worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Oxford, Beecroft Institute of Particle Astrophysics and Cosmology. In this role, they conducted extensive SQL querying and data analysis, using specialized software to create visualizations for astrophysics research.

Moving into the tech industry, Kieran joined PureGym as a Quality Assurance Engineer. Kieran later became a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer and ultimately a Lead Quality Assurance Engineer. In these roles, they managed a team of QA Engineers and automated test suites across different areas, including web development, business intelligence, and mobile application development. Kieran also played a key role in rewriting and maintaining the automation test suite for the PureGym website.

Prior to joining PureGym, Kieran worked as a Quality Assurance Engineer at Wiggle.co.uk, an online retailer. In this position, they focused on ensuring the quality of the company's products and services.

Kieran Edwards obtained a BSc (Hons) degree in Computer Science from the University of Portsmouth, where they studied from 2010 to 2013. Prior to that, they pursued a Diploma in Information Technology at the Management Development Institute of Singapore from 2009 to 2010. In addition, they obtained a certification in BDD with SpecFlow Masterclass from specflow in June 2021.
