Mehmet Sait Buruncu

Mehmet Sait Buruncu has extensive experience in the healthcare industry, specifically in laboratory operations and management. Mehmet Sait is currently the Chief Operating Officer at Purelab, a position they have held since 2022. Before joining Purelab, Buruncu worked at Pure Health from 2018 to 2022, where they held the role of COO - Group of Laboratories and Director- Laboratory Operations & Supply Chain. In this role, they oversaw a network of over 150 laboratories in the UAE and led teams in developing innovative approaches and strategic planning. Prior to Pure Health, Buruncu worked at Acibadem Healthcare Group for over 15 years in various roles, including Operations Director of Laboratory Services and Operations Manager. Mehmet Sait has experience in managing clinical chemistry, microbiology, and pathology laboratories, as well as implementing ISO 15189 laboratory standards. Throughout their career, Buruncu has demonstrated expertise in resource allocation, budgeting, and improving operational efficiency.

Mehmet Sait Buruncu completed their Lise (high school) education at Ziya Gökalp Lisesi, specializing in İngilizce Ağırlıklı Süper Lise/Fen Bilimleri (English-Emphasized Super High School/Science). Mehmet Sait then pursued their College education in Health Services/Allied Health/Health Sciences, General at Marmara University from 1996 to 1998. From 2005 to 2009, they obtained a Licentiate degree in Sport and Fitness Administration/Management from Marmara University. Later, they attended Beykent University from 2009 to 2011 and earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, focusing on Business Administration and Management, General.
