Sarah Smith-Moore

Sarah Smith-Moore is an experienced professional in the field of cell and molecular biology, currently serving as the Head of Cell and Molecular Biology at Purespring Therapeutics since March 2024. Previously, Sarah held the position of Head of Gene Therapy Research at Touchlight Genetics Ltd from March 2019 to March 2024. In earlier roles, Sarah worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Imperial College London, where research focused on employing a CRISPR-Cas9 system to explore mutations in plcg1 and their association with adult T cell leukaemia/lymphoma. Sarah also completed a postdoctoral position at King's College London, finalizing PhD research on adeno-associated virus latency. Education credentials include a PhD in Molecular Virology and an MSc in Immunology from King's College London, as well as a BS in Biology from the University of Houston.
