Anita Terpstra

Anita Terpstra, PhD, JD, is senior vice president and head of intellectual property at PureTech. Prior to joining PureTech, Dr. Terpstra was associate general counsel at Synlogic Therapeutics. She also served as in-house counsel at Synlogic, Inc. and MilliporeSigma, and as partner and IP attorney at McDonnel Boehnen Hulbert & Berghoff LLP. Dr. Terpstra is a member of various Boston-based life sciences and IP groups, including Women in Bio and ChIPs (Chiefs in Intellectual Property). She received a JD from Saint Louis University School of Law, a PhD in molecular biology from Boston University and a BA in biology from Bates College.
