Helen Bray

Helen Bray has a diverse work experience in the field of policy, energy, and climate impact. Helen is currently working as the Vice President Policy at Puro.earth since March 2023. Previously, they held the position of European Policy Director at Carbon Engineering Ltd. from September 2021 to March 2023. In the same period, they also founded Climate Impact Ltd. Prior to that, Helen worked at Shell in various roles including Senior Policy Adviser for Net Zero Emission, EU Affairs, Communications Manager, Policy Adviser, and Government Relations Adviser. Helen started their career as the Head of Energy Policy at Chemical Industries Association and worked as a Regulatory Analyst at EDF Energy and ELEXON.

Helen Bray obtained a Bachelor's degree in Earth Sciences from The University of Manchester in 1995. Helen went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Earth Sciences at the University of Cambridge from 1995 to 1999.
