Sarah Braswell Baker

Sarah Braswell Baker is an experienced ASL Interpreter and Team Manager Practitioner at Purple Communications, Inc., leading a team of interpreters and providing vital services to the Deaf community through Video Relay Service and on-site assignments since November 2014. Additional roles include Independent Contractor for diverse fields such as medical, mental health, and legal interpreting, as well as serving as ASL Interpreter Recruiter, facilitating the onboarding of new interpreters. Sarah held the position of Director of ASL Services at Akorbi from July 2021 to March 2023, where recruitment efforts led to a 250% increase in qualified interpreters.
