Brad Borders has a diverse work experience. Brad worked at Purple Heart Homes, Inc. as the VP of Community Outreach since August 2019, and previously held the positions of VP of Program Services and Construction Manager since August 2017. Brad also served as a Chaplain in the US Army starting from March 2003. From October 2011 to May 2014, Brad worked as a Regional Representative for Dr. David Jeremiah at Turning Point for God.
Brad Borders completed their education with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Appalachian State University, which they obtained between 1986 and 1990. Brad pursued further studies at Southern Evangelical Seminary, where they earned a Master of Arts in Christian Ministry (MACM) with a focus on Theology from 1998 to 2002. In addition to their formal education, Brad also obtained a certification from Justice for Vets in June 2023, specifically in the Veterans Treatment Court Foundation.
