AVP, Customer Care at Purple

Tom Limbean is the current Associate Vice President of Customer Care at Purple. Prior to this, they were the Operations Manager for AAPC's Service Center (call center) in Salt Lake City. In this role, they oversaw quality, workforce management/scheduling, hiring, training, coaching, project management, analytics and reporting, performance management, IVR/ACD maintenance, rewards and recognition.

Some of Tom's notable accomplishments include developing and implementing quality assurance/monitoring and training standards, introducing metric-driven initiatives to bring structure and accountability to the operation, and implementing online Chat (to complement existing phone and email servicing options).

Tom has also held the position of Senior Project Analyst/Channel Manager at American Express. In this role, they were responsible for leading a multi-disciplinary team in the planning and execution of new product launches, enhancements and initiatives across multiple channels including Online, Contact Center, Retail and Third Party Distribution.

Tom holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Utah.

Tom Limbean has a BA in Political Science from the University of Utah and an Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies from Phillips Jr College.
