Lloyd W. Frick

Prior to joining PurThread, Lloyd was a consulting advisor to several pharmaceutical companies on drug metabolism and pharmacokinetic (DMPK) issues.

From 2001-2005, he was first Principal Research Investigator, and then Director, DMPK, at Trimeris, Inc. Between 1986 and 2001, he held various research and leadership positions at Burroughs-Wellcome, GlaxoWellcome, and GlaxoSmithKline. From 1982-1986, Lloyd was a post-doctoral fellow studying the chemical mechanisms of enzymes. He holds a Ph.D. in zoology from the University of Hawaii, and a BS in Biology from Brown University.
