Putnam High Income Securities Fund
Andrew O'Brien, CFA, is an experienced portfolio manager and equity analyst with a focus on technology and consumer sectors. O'Brien has been with Putnam Investments since July 2011, currently serving as Portfolio Manager for the Putnam Global Technology Fund and conducting in-depth research on semiconductors, software, and hardware. Previous roles include equity analyst positions at bluescale capital and the Babson College Fund, where O'Brien managed an industrial team and generated detailed stock research reports. An initial internship at New England Private Wealth Advisors laid the groundwork for a strong foundation in investment analysis. O'Brien holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management with concentrations in Finance and Economics from Babson College and completed a year at The London School of Economics.
