Carlos López has a diverse work experience in the renewable energy industry. Carlos currently serves as the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) at PVH - PVHardware since 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Gransolar Group as the Managing Director Australia, responsible for the company's activities and achieving significant growth in revenue. Carlos also worked at GRS, a subsidiary of Gransolar Group, as the Project Director of the Lilyvale Solar Farm. Carlos managed the construction and operations of the 100MWac project. Earlier in their career, they held the position of Senior Project Manager at GRS, where they were responsible for project management, business development, and international tenders. Carlos has also worked at Abengoa as the EPC PV Proposals Manager, specializing in designing and managing photovoltaic power plant projects globally. Carlos started their career as a Project Engineer at Siliken S.A., where they gained experience in PV installation design and customer support. Carlos began their professional journey as a Project Technician at the Packaging Transport and Logistic Research Center (ITENE), focusing on packaging ecodesign and recycling of materials.

Carlos López obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Valencia in the years 2001 to 2007. Carlos then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Renewables Energies and Energy Efficiency at the Universidad de Zaragoza from 2010 to 2011. In 2016, Carlos enrolled in the IE Business School for an Executive Master of Business Administration (MBA) program. Additionally, they obtained a certification called "Becarios Fundación “la Caixa”" from the Fundación “la Caixa” in January 2010.
