Senior C4ISR Software Test Lead

Hybrid- San Diego, CA

ACTIVE Secret clearance required

PVM, Inc is actively seeking an experienced Senior C4ISR Software Test Lead, to organize and lead a small team of developers incorporating modeling and simulation (M&S) tools along with live and virtual testing. You will leverage a mix of Government Off the Shelf (GOTS), Commercial off the Shelf (COTS), and custom-developed tools and environments to plan, execute, analyze, and report on prototype system performance using a Live, Virtual and Constructive (LVC) approach.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute, analyze and report on prototype system performance
  • Operate in a low-to-high, multi-level security environment
  • Configure the necessary hardware, software, and data at each level to maximize efficiency and agility while reducing technical risk.
  • Provide technical expertise in C4ISR operations, technology, testing, and tools.
  • Regularly coordinate with the technical leadership of the prototype original equipment manufacturer (OEM) to prepare for effective integration into the LVC test environment and to plan test events.

Requirements:

  • ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE
  • 8 years related experience including C4ISR ops and software testing activities
  • Experience leading a test team and test activities in an M&S environment
  • Familiarity with operational threat scenarios and common threat behaviors
  • Experience using Design of Experiments (DoE) for statistically relevant results
  • Some travel

Education:

  • BS/BA or equivalent experience

Experience desired:

  • Object-based production (OBP) intelligence operations and data structures
  • Implementing universal C2 interface (UCI)
  • Promoting interoperability between hardware subsystems and software services with Critical Abstraction Layers (CALs) and Interface Control Documents (ICDs)
  • Knowledge of common figures of merit related to track kinematic accuracy and identity confidence
  • Experience with M&S tools such as AFSIM, NGTS, SPySE, or others
  • Programming language experience
  • Experience using data analytics software tools

Salary: $123,000- $165,000 per year
