Sunil Kumar is a resolute and a strategic thinker, he is currently involved in translating the envisioned growth plan of PVR Ltd, leading the entire day to day business HR operations & providing strategic HR leadership in developing the HR Business Strategy.
He joined PVR on 8th February 2016. During his tenure he has steered talent strategy and led efforts to create the necessary infrastructure & quality of hire processes for profitable growth, with substantial cost, price and management discipline. At the same time executed a plan to develop the leadership further and streamline the talent base.
He comes with a rich experience of 24 years in the art of managing people demographics of business and organizations with large scale workforce. He has been recognised as one of the 100 HR Innovators and 101 Top HR Minds in India in the year 2018. Under his leadership, PVR was awarded North India’s Best Employer Brand, Dream Company to work in the entertainment industry and National Best Employer Brand.
He is a graduate of the prestigious SIBM and as a Military veteran and an industry expert, his contributions as a behind-the-scenes facilitator and thought provoker have benefited numerous organizations. His leadership orientation and philosophy dwells deep and blends the facets of Human Psychology and deep embedded social structures have a positive impact on the macroeconomics of the organization.
