Myo Tun

Myo Tun is a Technical Supervisor at PXGEO since July 2021, overseeing and supporting the OBN instrument team both onshore and offshore, while providing training on OBN node control software. Prior to this, Myo Tun worked as an Instrumentation Field Support Engineer at Seabed Geosolutions from May 2019 to June 2021, where responsibilities included deploying and testing OBN software, troubleshooting network issues, and creating training materials. Myo Tun also served as a Senior Professional Services Engineer at Weatherford from November 2013 to May 2019, focusing on customer interaction and product troubleshooting, alongside assisting with the LOWIS software. Earlier experience includes a role as a Test Engineer at FOXCONN ASSEMBLY, LLC, where Myo Tun optimized testing processes for Cisco equipment, and as an Assistant Engineer at PEMSTAR Singapore Pte. Ltd, improving assembly procedures for chemical scrubbers. Myo Tun holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Diploma in Mechatronics from Singapore Polytechnic.
