Vice President, Google Cloud Canada, USA | Remote | Work from Home 

Why you?  We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Vice President to lead Pythian’s Google Cloud Department which includes the support, servicing, management and resell of the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Google Workspace (GWS) portfolio. The role is responsible for driving the success of the Google Cloud department’s portfolio as measured by revenue growth, profitability and referenceability of the Customer base by managing the Offerings, Pricing, PreSales Support, Services, and Customer Relationship Management functions. This position is responsible for leading a global team and optimizing a business model to be responsive to Customer needs and that also drives innovative concepts that support market differentiation, efficiency and quality.

What will you be doing?

  • Own and manage all aspects of Pythian's Google VAR business which includes resale and support of Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Google Workspace (GWS), Google Chrome and other Google and complimentary products.
  • Direct and oversee the day to day operations of the  VAR business to include the professional, support, enablement and managed services for the Work Transformation/Collaboration and Google Cloud Platform practice areas.
  • Build and execute on a Google Cloud VAR Business Plan aligned with Pythian's broader Google Business Plan.
  • Hire, manage and direct the team to in order achieve revenue growth, utilization, gross margin and customer retention goals as set forth by Pythian and in the Business Plan.
  • Develop strategies to ensure a high level of customer/revenue retention.
  • Actively collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Business Development to create revenue growth opportunities and secure new business.
  • Mature Pythian's Google offerings across both GCP and GWS product lines.
  • Develop, document and mature practice core processes.
  • Create accountability within the company by developing appropriate metrics and performance expectations for each team member.
  • Maintain a customer-first focused organization.
  • Effectively resolve issues across the marketing/sales and customer success functions.
  • Must be  comfortable with conflict, addressing issues, and solving problems in a practical and healthy manner.
  • Develop strong Google relationships that help shape Pythian's practices and offerings.

What do we need from you?

  • 10+ years proven experience in a leadership role.
  • Passion and knowledge in cloud-native transformation and collaboration offerings across key cloud platforms, ideally with strong knowledge of Google Workspace and Enterprise Chrome, but Microsoft Office 365 would work as well!
  • Strong consulting experience in both business development and engagement delivery, gained with a professional services or systems integration firm.
  • Proven ability to manage customer engagements under high stress to successful completion.
  • Be a strong problem solver and creative thinker with gravitas and strong negotiation skills.
  • Have the ability to operate at the strategic level, yet being close enough to the details to add value to Pythian’s customers and be a real support to your team.
  • Exceptional leadership/management skills, effectively managing both up and down with a track record of leading teams to success.
  • A desire to learn & expand your comfort zone whenever a new technological trend in the Workspace transformation and Collaboration space arises.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to develop and execute strategic plans, drive business growth, and manage budgets effectively.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels and across multiple time zones.
