Debora Bangun

Debora Bangun has a strong background in Human Resources (HR) and Finance, with over two decades of experience in various leadership positions. Debora is the Founder of HRDebora, a company focused on providing HR solutions for startups by emphasizing operational efficiency and employee well-being. Prior to that, Debora worked as the Head of HRBP Transformation - HR Management Asia at PZ Cussons. Debora also served as the Human Resources Director at OVO (PT Visionet Internasional).

Before their current roles, Debora held the position of Regional Director Human Resources - South East Asia at Target. In this role, they led the HR/Admin team and managed TSS Global Projects, including a major restructuring initiative and streamlining the pay structure. Debora was also selected for advanced training in coaching and leadership development.

Earlier in their career, Debora worked as the Head of Human Resources at The Nielsen Company, overseeing strategic HR initiatives and implementing cost-saving measures. Debora also served as the Head of Human Resources at Wallstreet Institute, where they established HR procedures and contributed to the organization's success in Indonesia.

Debora's experience extends to the Southeast Asia region, where they managed HR initiatives as the Regional HR Manager for Bureau Veritas. Debora focused on team effectiveness, talent management, and aligning talent with the company's needs.

Additionally, Debora has experience in the finance and accounting field, having worked as the Head of Finance HR and Legal Department at Wattyl - A part of Hempel, and as a Manager of Finance and Accounting at Unisys.

Debora Bangun holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Indonesia. Debora then pursued a Master's degree in Human Resources Management and Services from PPM School of Management, which they completed between 2007 and 2009. Additionally, they obtained a Postgraduate Degree in Business Administration and Management, General from IPMI International Business School.
