Jorge Jimenez

Senior Computational Software Engineer at Q Bio

Jorge Jimenez has worked in a variety of roles since 2011. Jorge began their career as a Physics TA and Research Assistant at Brigham Young University in 2011. Jorge then moved to the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2013, where they worked as a Research Assistant. In 2018, they began working as a Diagnostic Medical Physics Fellow at MD Anderson Cancer Center. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Q Bio as a Senior Computational Software Engineer and Image Reconstruction Engineer.

Jorge Jimenez has a diverse educational background. Jorge attended Benemerito de las Americas from 2002 to 2005, then Brigham Young University from 2008 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Physics. Jorge then went on to the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where they earned their Doctor of Philosophy in Medical Physics in 2018. Additionally, in February 2021, they obtained four certifications from LinkedIn in Data Science, Applied Machine Learning, and Machine Learning and AI Foundations.
