Filipe Lauar

Filipe Lauar has a strong background in machine learning and artificial intelligence. Filipe is currently employed at Qantev as a Machine Learning Engineer, where they have developed a document intelligence pipeline and created a deep learning system design interview for hiring senior staff. Previously, they worked at Life with AI as a Podcast Host, where they explained machine learning and deep learning algorithms in a simple manner and interviewed CEOs and CTOs of AI companies. Filipe also served as a researcher at the Federal University of Minas Gerais, conducting data science research on fraud detection in the stock market and creating an open-source dataset of possible fraud cases.

Filipe Lauar pursued their education starting in 2016 at Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, where they studied electrical engineering and computer engineering. Filipe completed their undergraduate degree in engineering at this institution in 2023. In 2020, Filipe decided to expand their knowledge and enrolled at Télécom Paris to earn an engineering degree with a focus on data science and artificial intelligence. Filipe pursued this program until 2022. Additionally, in 2021, Filipe simultaneously pursued a Master's degree in data science and artificial intelligence at Sorbonne Université, completing it in 2022.
