Lukas Maree

Lukas Maree has a diverse work experience in the field of information technology. Lukas currently holds the position of Head Of Information Technology at QANTM IP since January 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Transpower New Zealand as an Infrastructure & End-User Services Manager from January 2020 to January 2021. From July 2017 to July 2019, Lukas was the Head of Digital and Technology at Victoria Fund Management Corporation. Before that, they served as the General Manager IT at Mutual Trust Pty Ltd from October 2013 to August 2017. From December 2010 to October 2013, Lukas worked as the Global IT Director at WPP: Acceleration eMarketing, where they spearheaded global efforts to improve business processes and systems. Lukas has also held positions at Old Mutual as an IT Infrastructure Manager and IT Manager from June 1997 to November 2010. Throughout their career, Lukas has demonstrated their expertise in IT management, infrastructure, digital technologies, and strategic planning.

Lukas Maree attended Sentraal High School from 1987 to 1992, where they did not obtain a specific degree or field of study. Lukas later pursued higher education at the University of the Free State from 1993 to 1996, obtaining a B.Comm degree in Business Management. Lukas also obtained additional certifications, including ITIL Infrastructure Management and ITIL Foundation Level, from Pink Elephant South Africa in 2008 and 2007, respectively. Lukas also received an MCSE certification from Microsoft, though the obtained month and year are not provided.
