Peter de Vroomen's work experience begins in 1994 as a Junior Software Developer at Triton Professional Services, where they worked on custom features, bug fixes, and database problem solving for BAAN software. In 1995, they joined Valkieser Multimedia as a CD-i developer, where they developed various software applications for CD-i, including controlling stage technology. In 1998, they worked at Philips Business Communications as a Software Engineer, focusing on porting utility software to Windows and implementing call center voice response systems. Peter also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at High Tech Automation in 1998, where they ported Unix-based software to Windows. From 1999 to 2006, they served as a Senior Software Engineer and Technical Lead at Spin! Media Software / Jaytown, working on multimedia titles, websites, CD-ROMs, games, and Internet Explorer toolbars. In 2006, they joined TomTom International B.V. as a Senior Software Engineer, responsible for implementing services like traffic, speed cameras, and real-time traffic data. Peter later became an Expert Developer and Unit Leader for the ERO unit, overseeing mobile development and emergency response in case of calamities. Their most recent role is as the Principal iOS Developer at Qardio, Inc., where they have been since 2016, developing iPhone apps and keeping Qardio's people safe.

Peter de Vroomen pursued their education in a chronological manner, starting with a Junior High School degree from Riyadh International Community School, which they completed between the years 1980 and 1983. Following this, between 1989 and 1991, they attended HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht (Hogeschool Utrecht) in the field of Hogere Informatica, although they did not obtain a degree from this institution. Subsequently, from 1991 to 1994, Peter attended Saxion University of Applied Sciences, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science.

Aside from their formal education, Peter also earned a certification in BHV, Bedrijfshulpverlener Emergency, Response Officer from NedCert in November 2016.
