Marco Scoppetta

Marco Scoppetta has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Marco is currently working at Qatalog, where they started as a Senior Software Engineer in February 2020 and was promoted to the role of Backend Engineering Lead in July 2021. Prior to Qatalog, Marco worked at ComplyAdvantage as a Senior Software Engineer from December 2019 to January 2020.

Before that, Marco had a significant tenure at Grakn Labs, starting in November 2015 as a Full Stack Software Engineer and later transitioning to the role of Senior Software Engineer. At Grakn Labs, they were involved in the development and refactoring of backend components, such as the gRPC server, session/transactions handling, concurrency, and authentication.

Marco Scoppetta obtained a Bachelor's degree in Engineering of Computing Systems from Politecnico di Milano, which they attended from 2008 to 2011. Marco continued their education at the same institution and obtained a Master's degree in the same field of study from 2011 to 2015. During their academic journey, they also had the opportunity to study at Keio University in 2012-2013, although no specific degree or field of study was mentioned.
