Nandakumar Venkatesan

Nandakumar Venkatesan is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in the aviation industry. Currently serving as Vice President at Qatar Airways since August 2011, Nandakumar oversees technology architecture, infrastructure design, platform management, and corporate IT support, specializing in enterprise cloud management and big data ecosystems. Prior experience at Emirates from 1998 to 2011 includes roles as Product Manager, leading the development of the SkyChain product, and Project Manager, successfully overseeing comprehensive software development initiatives. Nandakumar began the professional journey in the early 1990s as a Software Engineer at Air India and later at Emirates, contributing significantly to software engineering and systems analysis. Nandakumar holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, and a Master of Business Administration in Management Information Systems from Anna University, Chennai.
