Waqas Ali Ahmad

Waqas Ali Ahmad is an experienced software engineering professional with a strong background in leading development teams and delivering specialized solutions within the banking sector. Currently serving as a Project Lead at Qatar Airways since August 2024, Waqas previously held the position of Senior Outsystems Developer at Bahrain Islamic Bank from May 2018 to September 2024. Responsibilities included designing, developing, and deploying OutSystems solutions while mentoring a team of developers. Additional experience includes roles as Senior Software Engineer at VeriPark Gulf, Lead Software Development Team member, and Senior Software Engineer at World Vision, along with earlier positions at PRAL and Cosmos International. Waqas holds a Master’s degree in Software Engineering from Bahria University and a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering from UET Taxila.
