Kirhan Pulat

Kirhan Pulat has a diverse and extensive work experience in the financial industry. KIRHAN is currently working as the AGM- Head of Operations at Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB) since August 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Deloitte Consulting as a Senior Managing Consultant / Director- Financial Services from September 2021 to August 2022.

Before joining Deloitte, Kirhan held various positions at HSBC from 2012 to 2020. Their roles at HSBC included Regional Head of Wholesale Operations from September 2018 to November 2020, Head of Operations and Operational Transformation from November 2017 to September 2018, Head of Private & Retail Banking Operations from January 2014 to November 2017, and Head of Sales and Service Management from January 2012 to January 2014.

Prior to their tenure at HSBC, Kirhan worked at Peppers & Rogers Group from 2005 to 2012, where they held the positions of Project Manager, Senior Consultant, and Consultant. Their responsibilities at Peppers & Rogers Group included consulting clients in the banking/finance and telecom sectors, business development to acquire new accounts, and developing consulting insights.

Kirhan's early career includes roles at BBVA, where they worked in business development and CRM from February 2004 to October 2005, and in retail and SME banking strategic planning from January 2003 to February 2004.

Kirhan Pulat obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Boğaziçi University, completing the program from 1997 to 2002. Later, in 2000 to 2001, they attended the State University of New York, although the specific degree or field of study achieved during this time is undisclosed. In 2014 to 2015, Kirhan pursued an Executive MBA at Koç University, specializing in the field of study of Business Administration. Additionally, in 2015, they earned a Master of Finance degree from Koç University. Most recently, in 2020, Kirhan participated in a Fintech Program at Harvard University.
