Shadab Syed

Shadab Syed has an extensive work experience spanning over 20 years. Shadab started their career in 2001 as a Technical Support Specialist at GE Advanced Materials, where they provided troubleshooting support and trained new employees. In 2002, they worked as a TSE at Dell International Services.

In 2004, Shadab joined Genpact as a Team Leader in the Information Security Practice. Shadab managed a team responsible for Intrusion Detection Systems support across multiple continents and ensured the smooth running of the process.

In 2005, they transitioned to GE Money as an Information Security Consultant, where they implemented backup and anti-virus policies and ensured the availability of various antivirus infrastructures.

From 2007 to 2009, Shadab worked at Genpact IT Services as an Information Security Consultant, supporting incident response management processes, driving change implementation on security issues, and attending corporate security conferences.

In 2009, they joined GE Money again as an Information Security Consultant, this time serving GE Money UK. Shadab provided AV and vulnerability management as part of the offshore security infrastructure management service.

In 2010, Shadab moved on to IBM India Pvt Ltd as a Security & Compliance Manager for Australia & New Zealand. In this role, they were responsible for security and compliance initiatives.
