Muhammad Asif Khan is a Research Scientist at the Qatar Mobility Innovations Center (QMIC) since December 2021, focusing on the "Context Recognition in Crowd Monitoring using Crowdsourced Data" project as part of the Post Doctoral Research Award (PDRA) program. Previously, from June 2020 to October 2021, Muhammad served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Qatar University, working on a project related to predictive QoE-aware machine learning for secure live streaming. Muhammad completed a PhD in Electrical Engineering at Qatar University from 2014 to 2019, where also had the role of Graduate Research Assistant. Prior research experience includes another Graduate Research Assistant position at QMIC focusing on scalable multimedia multicasting solutions. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Telecommunication Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Taxila, and a B.Sc. in Telecommunication Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Peshawar.
