Jihad Hashim has had a diverse range of work experience in the field of content management, research, and production. Jihad has worked for various companies and projects, including Qatar Museums, where they served as a Content Manager and Senior Researcher. In this role, they worked on commissioning films by renowned directors to be displayed in the National Museum of Qatar. Jihad also worked as a Content and Archive Researcher for their own self-employed venture and as an Assistant Producer & Assistant Director for Centre Screen Productions. Additionally, they served as a Visual Content Manager for Barker Langham, a Content Manager and Editor for Centre Screen Productions, an Archive and Content Researcher for Newangle Productions, a member of the Concept Development Team for Tim Gardom Associates, an Archive and Content Researcher for New Angle, a Middle East Broadcast Consultant for ITN Consulting, and a Researcher for The Fish Film Company – Fulcrum TV. Their work involved research, content development, location coordination, talent sourcing, and client liaison, among other responsibilities.
Jihad Hashim pursued their higher education starting from the year 2000 until 2001 at The University of Manchester. During this time, they obtained a Diploma in Middle Eastern Studies, Arabic, and French. Subsequently, from 2001 to 2005, they enrolled at the University of Salford, where they completed their Bachelor of Arts (HONS) degree in Media Business and French.
