Mahabir Prasad Mahapatra

Mahabir Prasad Mahapatra, MBA, PMP®, currently serves as a Senior Geologist at QatarEnergy, a position held since February 2023. With over 15 years of experience in the geoscience field, Mahabir previously led the Geoscience Team at Schlumberger, focusing on providing technical support and solutions to exploration and production companies in India, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka. At Schlumberger, responsibilities included executing technical FDP projects, geoscience interpretation, and fostering business growth in the region. Prior roles included Senior Geologist at Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation Ltd and experience as a Project Fellow at Delhi University. Mahabir holds a Master of Business Administration from Liverpool John Moores University and a Master of Science in Applied Geology from the Indian Institute of Technology.
