Ummara Zahid

Ummara Zahid currently serves as Vice President and Divisional Head of Tax for QBE North America and QBE Blue Ocean Re, overseeing tax operations since May 2023. Prior to this role, Ummara held the position of Tax Director at Prosperity Life from 2021 to 2023, and served as Senior Tax Manager at Genworth from 2018 to 2021. Previous experience includes leadership roles at Radian, EY, KPMG, and IBM, beginning with an internship at Citi in 2004. Ummara holds a Master of Science in Professional Taxation and a Bachelor of Science in Finance & Accounting from Fordham Gabelli School of Business, along with a High School Diploma from Maria Regina High School.
