Arturo Contreras Montoya

Arturo Contreras Montoya has a diverse work experience. In 2021, they worked as a Functional Consultant for Oracle ERP Cloud at Qbit S.A. Prior to this, from 2019 to 2020, they served as a Commercial Pilot at Aero Palcazu S.A.C, where they fulfilled the roles of co-pilot and crew member, attending to both Peruvian and foreign tourists, dispatching charter flights, and handling operations in Nasca. From 2018 to 2019, they worked as a Commercial Pilot at Alas Peruanas S.A.C, where they performed similar duties, including overflights to the Nasca lines. In 2017, they briefly held the position of Zone Manager at INEI- Instituto Nacional de Estadística e Informática. In 2016, they were a Practitioner in Aeronautical Dispatch at Avianca, learning about aircraft dispatch and assisting with flight plans, weight and balance, and passenger manifests. Prior to that, from 2015 to 2016, they worked as an Airport Security Officer at Delta Air Lines.

Arturo Contreras Montoya has a diverse education history. In 2020, they began their studies at CIBERTEC, where they pursued a Tecnicatura degree in Computación e Informática, which they completed in 2023. Prior to this, from 2016 to 2018, Arturo attended Master of the Sky – Escuela de Pilotos, earning a degree in Piloto Comercial with a focus on Aviación Comercial. In 2018, they obtained a Habilitación Multimotor from Escuela de Aviación Civil Jorge Chávez Dartnell. Before pursuing aviation, Arturo studied at Asociación Cultural Peruano Británica (Británico) from 2011 to 2014, where they gained an advanced proficiency in English and specialized in teaching English as a foreign language. Additionally, Arturo attended Escuela Peruana de Aviación Civil ESPAC from 2014 to 2016, where they obtained a degree in Piloto Privado in the field of Aviación Comercial.

In terms of certifications, Arturo has acquired a range of additional skills. In 2023, they received a certificate in Scientific Computing with Python from freeCodeCamp, along with an EFSET English Certificate 79/100 (C2 Proficient) from EF Standard English Test. In 2022, they completed various courses on data analysis and visualization from Coursera, including "Analyze Data to Answer Questions," "Share Data Through the Art of Visualization," "Process Data from Dirty to Clean," "Prepare Data for Exploration," "Ask Questions to Make Data-Driven Decisions," and "Foundations: Data, Data, Everywhere." Prior to that, in 2021, Arturo completed a course on Introducción a Oracle PL/SQL from Udemy. Lastly, in 2020, they attained a certificate in Backyard Meteorology: The Science of Weather from HarvardX.
