Jay Thomas

Jay Thomas is a data engineering consultant at Qbiz. Jay has previously worked as a data engineer at Nextdoor, Inc., from February 2014 to April 2019, and as an analytics engineer at Castlight Health from February 2012 to January 2014. Prior to that, they were a senior data scientist at LinkedIn from July 2007 to February 2012, where they provided descriptive and predictive analytics on key business trends, dug into raw data to find insights for decision makers, and helped as many people as possible access and interpret data on their own. Jay Thomas also has experience as a freelance web developer, developing highly-customized, dynamic web sites based on Drupal and Wordpress content management systems. Jay has also worked as a marketing analyst at Sprint Nextel from November 1998 to May 2006.

Jay Thomas received their M.F.A. in Writing from the University of San Francisco and their B.A. in Philosophy from Northern Arizona University.
