Amirali Ashrafizadeh, P.Eng.

Amirali Ashrafizadeh, P.Eng. has over twelve years of work experience. Starting in 2008, they were the Team Leader at IUT Aerospace Team. In 2010, they were a Teacher's Assistant at Isfahan University of Technology, where they designed and implemented a course website and developed a tool to automatically run and verify codes. In 2011, they were a Cluster Technician at Integrated Computing Systems. From 2012 to 2014, they were a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at the University of Waterloo. During this time, they facilitated tutorials for students, organised and managed labs, marked projects and exams, and conducted research for Atomic Energy Canada Limited. In 2014, they were an Aerospace/Mechanical Engineer at PrecisionHawk Unmanned Systems Innovation. From 2017 to 2018, they were a Project Manager and Systems Engineer at SkyX Systems Corp. During this time, they were a Team Lead, Systems Design and Systems Designer, Life Sciences at ATS Automation. In 2021, they became Co-Founder/Mechanical Engineer at Ashrodesign Inc. and in 2022, they became Senior Operations Manager at QEA Tech.

Amirali Ashrafizadeh, P.Eng. has a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Mechanical Engineering from Isfahan University of Technology, which they obtained between 2007 and 2011. Amirali then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo, which they completed in 2014. In July 2020, they obtained a Professional Engineer (PE) certification from Professional Engineers Ontario.
