At KPMG South Africa, they served as a Senior Manager, leading sustainability assurance and climate change services for clients in the mining industry. This role lasted from November 2007 to February 2012. At KPMG UK, they held the role of Manager in sustainability assurance and also worked as a Financial Audit Trainee/Assistant Manager. Their clients at KPMG included major companies in the energy and natural resources sectors, such as Shell, BP, and Anglo American.
Throughout their career, Nirali Shah has developed expertise in sustainability, responsible sourcing, supply chain management, and corporate non-financial reporting. Nirali has demonstrated a track record of driving growth and successfully overseeing complex projects in the financial and resources sectors.
Nirali Shah pursued their education at the University of Bristol from 1996 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Accounting with Spanish. Following that, from 2001 to 2004, they attended the Institute of Chartered Accountants England and Wales, where they obtained the ACA qualification.
